寺離れ(Away from the temple)

最近は仏教から離れていく人が多い。

なぜか。

原因は種を蒔いていないから。

私の子供の頃は

寺に遊びに行って

遊んだり、スイカを食べさせてもらったり、

本堂で寝たり、お菓子を貰ったり、

年に何回かお寺で行事がありました。

お寺にはけっこう親しみがありました。

坊さんも子供を育てるという気概があった。

現代はお金ばかり。

お布施が少ないだとか、足代はとか。

永代供養ならば５０万円

墓じまいは３０万円とか。

時間給千円で働いている人が多い中

１５分ほど居て１万円ほど持って帰る。

これに嫌気がさしている。

種を蒔いていないから

寺に親しみを持っている人か少ない。

敷居が高い。

これが原因。
