紀伊国広村(現在の和歌山県有田郡広川町)の豪商・浜口梧陵(はまぐち ごりょう)が
取った機転と決断を描いた実話に基づく物語
""The Fire of Rice Sheaves"" is a story based on true events, depicting the quick thinking and decisive action of Goryo Hamaguchi—a wealthy merchant from Hiro Village in Kii Province (present-day Hirokawa Town, Arida District, Wakayama Prefecture)—during the massive tsunami triggered by the Ansei-Nankai Earthquake of 1854.
