There's a 300-tsubo (approximately 990 square meters) plot of abandoned farmland where pampas grass has grown to waist height.
I spent a whole day mowing the grass.
I'll clean up the grass the next day.
When I went back to clean it up the next day,
the pampas grass had grown back to waist height and was just as it was before.
It must be the work of the yokai [Iyagara-gusa] (a type of grass monster).
