芍薬咲く(2024.5.18)Peony blooms

芍薬が咲き始めました。

今年は不作。

1,000本植えましたが

猪がミミズを捜して土を掘り返すため

今はおそらく500本くらいになっている。

茎が細いので栄養不足。

今年は肥料を撒きます

The peonies have started to bloom.

This year's harvest was poor.

I planted 1,000 stalks,

but the wild boars have been digging up the soil looking for earthworms,

so now there are probably only about 500.

The stems are thin, so they are lacking in nutrients.

I will spread fertilizer this year.
