萩明倫館、萩市江向６０２番地(萩市役所前)にある。

萩藩の教育や人材育成の学校。

私が学んだ小中高の懐かしい木造校舎。

享保3年(1718)、5代藩主毛利吉元が作った。

在籍者で有名なのは、桂小五郎、高杉晋作、吉田松陰など

Hagi Meirinkan is located at 602 Emukai, Hagi City (in front of Hagi City Hall).

A school for education and human resource development of the Hagi clan.

A nostalgic wooden school building from elementary, middle and high school where I studied.

It was built in 1718 by Yoshimoto Mori, the 5th lord of the domain.

Famous students include Kogoro Katsura, Shinsaku Takasugi, and Shoin Yoshida.
