去年ここにレモンを８本植えました

１年経って先祖返り(病気に強いカラタチに

レモンを接ぎ木するが、カラタチが勝ちカラタチが生えてくること)・冬枯れにより

３本ダメになった

植替えて２本追加で植えて

１０本にしました

Last year, I planted eight lemon trees here.

A year later, three of them died due to atavism (a lemon tree grafted onto a disease-resistant trifoliate orange tree wins and grows back) and winter withering.

I replanted them and planted two more, bringing the total to ten.
