ザトウムシ Opiliones

座頭虫は８本の長い足を持っている。

目が見えていないのでザトウムシという名前。

足で周りを探りながら体を揺らして歩く。

肉食性で基本的に動きが鈍くなっている昆虫など食べる。

体の大きさは５ｍｍくらい

乾燥した所が苦手で湿った場所を好みます。

人間にとっては害虫でも益虫でもない

Opiliones has eight long legs.

It's called a bug because it can't see.

It walks by swinging its body while exploring the surroundings with its feet.

It eats insects that are carnivorous and basically slow to move.

body size is about 5mm

It doesn't like dry places and prefers wet places.

Neither harmful nor beneficial to humans.
