美ら海水族館の大水槽。

巾22.5m、高さ8.2mのアクリル製大水槽。

厚みは60cmもある。

世界最大の全面透明水槽

昔はガラス製で鉄枠で支えていた、それも時々割れていた。

アクリルで作るようになって全面透明になった。

このアクリルは７枚のアクリル板を接着剤でつないである。

接着剤は本体の７４％の強度がある。

分割にする理由は運べない事とアクリルを流し込むガラス板の大きさで決まるから。

In the old days, it was made of glass and supported by an iron frame, which sometimes cracked.

I started making it with acrylic and it became completely transparent.

This acrylic consists of 7 acrylic plates glued together.

The adhesive is 74% as strong as the body.

The reason for making it separately is determined by the size of the glass plate into which the acrylic is poured and the fact that it cannot be transported.
