値のデータを見やすくするには、

表をグラフにすれば良い。

もちろんグラフよりも

表だけの方が見やすい場合もありますが、

今回使うデータのように

(都道府県の総人口)

表だけのデータよりも、

縦棒グラフの方が見やすい。

そして、縦棒グラフよりも、

ツリーマップの方が見やすい。

ツリーマップは、単なる値のデータ一覧を

長方形の面積に表現して図示してくれます。

使用するデータによって

適切な種類のグラフを選択すれば

データをより視覚的に表すことが可能です。
