パット見少ないが
袋に詰めていくと減った気がしない
けっこうある
I came to pick up some grass clippings.
It doesn't look like much at first glance, but as I put them in the bag, it doesn't feel like there's much left.
There's actually quite a bit.

イチジクの剪定(2025.12.10)Pruning fig trees
長らく放っておいたイチジクの木
枝が詰まってきたので剪定をしています
すっきりしました
I've been neglecting my fig tree for a long time.
The branches have become crowded, so I'm pruning them.
It looks much neater now.

５時間程度しか作業はできません

コナラ切り3(2025.12.7)Quercus serrata 3
すこし太めのコナラ
切るのはそれほど大変ではないが
軽トラに積むのは写真のように
斜路を作り転がして載せます
直に持ってあげたら腰を痛める
It's a slightly thicker oak tree.
It's not that hard to cut, but to load it onto a light truck, you have to create a ramp and roll it down, as shown in the photo.
If you try to carry it directly, you'll hurt your back.

ロ－ラ－にけっこうまとわりつく
の面だけで４リッタ－使いました

The roof paint is sticky and clings quite well to the roller.
I used 4 liters just on that surface.

作った木のチップを運んできました
いっぱいになったが
山のように積んだらまだ入る
I brought in the wood chips I made.
It's full, but if I pile it up like a mountain, there's still more to come.

メタセコイアの落葉(2025.12.6)Fallen metasequoia leaves
メタセコイアが落葉しました
木が大きいので圧倒的に葉が多い
広範囲に地面が赤茶色
太陽が当たり眩しい
The metasequoia has lost its leaves.
The tree is so large that there are an overwhelming number of leaves.
The ground is reddish-brown over a wide area.
The sun is shining brightly.

屋根二面目のシ－ラ－塗りです
暑いから乾くのは早い
太陽で屋根が焼けて座ると熱い
上は太陽カンカン照り
夕方涼しくなるのを待ちます
I'm applying sealer to the second side of the roof.
It's hot, so it dries quickly.
The sun is burning the roof, so it's hot to sit on.
The sun is scorching up above.
I'm waiting for it to cool down in the evening.

栗園刈草敷き他(2025.12.6)Laying grass clippings in the chestnut orchard, etc.
栗園の草を刈り
刈草を敷きます
草が少し足らなかった
栗の木の剪定もやり始めたのですが
時間不足で別の日にやります
I mowed the grass in the chestnut orchard and spread the cut grass.
There wasn't enough grass.
I also started pruning the chestnut trees, but I didn't have enough time so I'll do it another day.

その２面目の屋根掃除です
前回のペンキとゴミを落とします
The roof is hipped, so it has four sides.
We're cleaning the second side.
We're removing the paint and debris from the previous cleaning.
漏水 water leak
これは排水会所です
排水会所の下にはコンクリ－トのベ－スがあり沈みません
マンホールの周りの地盤が沈んでいます
この場合、会所とビニール管の取付け部の
穴埋めが完全ではなく
土の中に水が漏れて土が下がり
地表のマンホールの周りが沈んでいます
空洞が広がれば車などが乗れば
突然はまり込みます
一般の人は知らない
